Benassi

A história da Benassi começa em Jundiaí, no Interior de São Paulo, no início dos anos 50. A empresa, que hoje atua em boa parte do país, iniciou sua atividade com a produção própria de pequenas culturas. O primeiro passo da ainda incipiente empresa foi a montagem de uma banca de frutas em plena Via Anhanguera, também recém-nascida. Em 1952 veio o grande salto: a vinda para o Mercado da Cantareira, em São Paulo, para a venda de uvas.
